Introducing David Pujado, Curator and Expert
For nearly fifteen years, I worked as a Purchasing Manager in industrial companies, what I sometimes refer to as “my previous life.”
That chapter gave me structure, discipline, and a deep understanding of negotiation and strategy. But my real education began elsewhere.
I entered the art world driven by curiosity. As a self-taught photographer, I trained my eye by looking carefully and relentlessly. Thousands of photographs, countless exhibitions, long hours studying how images speak, how they construct meaning, how they inhabit space.
Alongside this self-directed formation, I pursued formal online studies to deepen my understanding of visual culture and art management, including online courses at MoMA New York, Università Bocconi, and the University of London.
What began as personal exploration gradually became a professional commitment.
